Why should you even bother getting involved with BioSA? Well since we are the Biological Department of the Student's Association (hence DSA), we do
our best to serve as a liaison between students and professors. Your feedback and help can improve our services provided for the student body, strengthen ties between professors and students, and allow BioSA to really understand how much of an impact our efforts have and how we can better meet the demands and needs of the students. Keep one thing in mind, we are students who were elected by students to represent the student body, so please check up on us as often as you can to make sure we are accurately representing you!

So what can you do to help out?
  • Join as a volunteer to help out with events and seminars. 20 hours of volunteer service gains you a reference letter from BioSA!
  • Let us know the events you would like to see us do for this upcoming year. This can be a proposition for a collaboration, or even just a completely new event that you've never seen done by us before.
  • Contact us to let us know how we are doing as individual representatives, as a DSA, or to raise any issues or concerns you feel that should be addressed to the student body or to the faculty of professors.
