Say whaaaaaaaaaaaaat? BioSA gives out an award? Dang right we do, it's called Biology Student's Association Award and don't you forget it! In order to qualify, applicants must have completed at least 5 credits and show financial needs. Further more, students must have achieved a cumulative GPA of at least 3.3 (B+) and have demonstrated involvement in the scientific community. This involvement includes, but is not limited to, volunteering in labs with professors as well as research in hospitals. Deadline to apply for this award is May 31st, 2011.

BioSA has opened a forum for students in the biological program to discuss about bio-related courses! It is still a developing service as it has recently been opened to the public. Improvements will be made as time continues, so please help contribute to the succes of the forum by using it as much as possible!

Only BioSA Cardholders and website registrants are allowed to use the forum.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
